Service Description

Our strength class focuses on making sure our bodies can carry themselves easily into older age. We push our bodies with slow, conscious movements under maximal load to improve joint, bone and muscle strength and stability. Learning to lift weights is also integral to functional fitness. How to lift things in a gym has the same principles as to how we lift things in day to day life; therefore, it reduces the risk of injury and gives us the confidence to stay active for a long time to come. We use Olympic lifts, callisthenics and y-bells in this class. Great for: Full body Muscle tone Strength Heart health Bone density Joint strength and stability. Functional fitness.
